Pluckin' Cards 1998....

Side B was originally done by a cat that went by MK I in San Fran; One of our favorite mixtapes back when mixtapes were the shit, so we had to recreate it for the hommies, 11 years later...

What's up guys,

This is D.Ecco or uh Echo or whatever. Fury tipped me off to this thread. I have not been able to listen to the recreation yet but awesome that you did it. I never even thought about that there might be people re-creating old mixtapes. Funny idea but all good with me. Shit I am impressed anyone even still has that old Pluckin' Cards tape still - ha!

I'm going to share this link with MK1 who hasn't dj'ed since prolly this tape was made.

One question, pretty impressive that you have all these old records. Have you just been collecting forever or are they mixed with MP3s.

Glad I saw this. Ha.

mmmmm Quadrant 6...

This kind of reminds me of something Tekfox and I talked about one day for fun: We considered doing a nonshitty mix of DJ Fresh's Bass Invaders. I can't believe he sold that thing in public... I think we were 3 records away.

You should go back to talking about something useful like Goreteks and Ecco.
