i have a sherman filterbank and while its a studio bound device, it fucking ROCKS. this link looks to be a sherman built for beat mangling live. do want.

^ ahh cool, i had never even heard of them. so do they make effects/synths or are they more mixer shit? this piece looks like a cross between. its like a super underground hip version of a kaoss pad.

kaoss does a lot more than this thing, but this sounds like a VERY nice filter that i want want want want want etc

yeah man a kaoss is cool, i like those live too, but this serves very different function that i would not even WANT to use the kaoss for, even though it has a few filters in the banks (they sound shite IMO, but some of the other effects are cool).

for a REAL MUTHAFUCKIN filter, check the sherman filterbank, or something like mutronics mutaytor or schippman ebbe und flute. top of the line. would NEVER bring those out live though, heh.
