I haven't heard the whole thing yet, but the couple of songs I have heard were badass. I especially like an inward view (think that's the title) and it's video - never get tired of the naked chic swimming in an ocean-sized bathtub ;)

I'm pleasantly surprised at the new vocalist, though he sounds eerily like Layne at times...

It was a conspiracy..

New lead singer. He sounds way different but at times like Layne. The harmony vocals with Jerry are spot on.. I like the new album, but it ain't Layne..

Your Decision is the shit.. I miss Cantrell's acoustic/crossover domination...

Honestly, all the AiC purists that say 'it's not the same without Layne' can suck a nut. The new guy sounds so similar, I had no ideaR there was a new singer.

What's REALLY going to be interesting is to see how many old songs they play live... I'll let you know after their show here in SA next Thursday :D

yeah - after seeing this thread i went and listened to the snippets on amazon and had a hard time distinguishing in a lot of places, frankly. i wonder if they were looking for that voice specifically or looking to go a new direction, but once he auditioned they were just like "uhh, okay thats the guy"

Probably. I haven't kept up on AiC, but haven't they been on hiatis for quite some time? Maybe they wanted to keep that sound, so they looked for that type of singer? I love how they still do the heroin rock, but it's a tad more edgy now... honestly, I love parts of the CD, others I don't really care for, but that's the same with almost all CDs

... they were killer live last week BTW. Jerry does the vocals for some songs and William does the 'Laine' vocals for all the older tracks (except one that I can't remember).

I can't find any tour info. Sporadic appearances here and there. I guess a full tour isn't finalized me thinks?
