there was supposed to be DnB... however, the second stage was cut early in the night due to noise concerns from the surrounding businesses.

i was really looking forward to mystical and fury's sets... good djs, great guys for sure. both of those guys will be playin the planet of the drums anniversary party on 11-07-09 AND they'll be back at the phil long expo center on 11-14-09 for bassphrodisac (this time on the main stage).

Holy shit, last night was a reminder of why I love live electronica. That show, was a BLAST and a HALF! Maaaaaaaaaaad props on the decorations guys! You really went the extra mile with the ghost on stage, the fogging pumpkin, and the spider webs out on the smokers patio. Yes, it was unfortunate the second stage got shut down (quite early too it seems), but that didn't take away from the night for me. Icey's set was decent, at one point I remember hearing just, noise coming from the speakers, but he droped 3 or 4 tracks I dug, and some older break classics. Morgan Page was pretty amazing as well, and Kaskade seemed to play almost every genre of trance but psy. Talk about a nice variety in that set. Thrillseekers though, STOLE THE SHOW. The only qualm I had about their set, was the mc. I understand you didn't get to mc on the DnB stage, but Trance + MCing = taking away from the experience. It's just not a genre that needs such an addition.

I wanted to take a guess at who won the costume contest. I am guessing it might have been the couple with the giant demon wings. Their costumes were pretty epic in scale and quality.

Thanks again Digga for making the night a possibility for me, it was cool seeing Cybr and Chachi for a brief moment. I tried to find you all night Digga but I'm guessing you were kicking back in the VIP area, no?

I haven't partied in the springs in years, and I forgot how the drive down there gives you an extra boost of energy and amps you up even more. Plus I wasn't driving, so even better. :P Venue was pretty awesome. The sound reverberation was pretty minimal and if you stood in the right spot on the dance floor, it was perfect. And the right spot was surprisingly far back, which allowed for actual room to dance, and not be crowded. For the first time, I couldn't make it to the front of the stage. That sound rig KILLED.

I heard numbers were lower than expected, but it was nice to be at a party with lots of people, and at any given point in the night and have a spot to stand where I had an arms length of personal space as well as being able to hear the music to my satisfaction. Even the smoking section had minimal congestion.

No joke, I had a BLAST, and since the Phil Long Expo center is off the first exit as you come into the springs, it's a good 20mins closer than City Aud was... makes it @ 45mins.

I drove down from Albuquerque for the event with 2 other freinds. I also met my freind who flew in from Tulsa just for this event. It was fun but we got VIP and it was disappointing to say the least. It sucks so many people had their cars broken into. I posted a rant on Craigslist Denver and it got flagged and removed! If you would like to see it here is a link. http://denver.craigslist.org/rnr/1440537082.html I warn you I have pottyfingers and if you dont like strong language or feel VIP was great and then you dont want to read it. Overall a good time just need better security in the parking lot and make sure that second stage can go off w/o getting shut down by the noise cops.

i had an excelent time. thanks beatport and the triads for securing a great venue and proving a night full of fun for me and my friends. Night went so by so fast though. I guess thats what happens when you having a great time.
