Anyone else get their pass yet, just got the 5 mountain pass last week and will be looking for some peeps to go riding with once we get a few more dumps.

Man I've lived in Colorado my entire life and have only been skiing once. lol I should really get on doing that this year. Any suggestions on starting?

lol seems like there are quite a few natives in the same boat. Well do you ski or board? If you skateboarded ever snowboarding usually comes pretty easy. Do you have any gear? If you really thinkin about startin I'd get some hand-me-down gear from freinds or go find some deals at sports authority so you won't be spending a grand your first season.

season rentals can be another good option if you can't get any suitable handmedowns and plan on going often enough to make it worthwhile.

i think this season is going to be a lost cause again, but my board keeps calling to me from the storage closet... might be able to swing a couple of Kilo buses to Monarch tho since it looks like my new work schedule will give me Fridays off (finally, a 4x10 that gives me the whole weekend off, woot!)

Last weekend was nice at A-Basin.... Not a rock in site. Was basically like good spring riding.

I doubt I go up this weekend as it never got cold enough to make snow as far as I know.

Was rocking my brand new Bataleon and my base is still spotless.

My usual snowboarding buddy just bailed, but I really want to try and get up to A-basin tomorrow. anyone interested? I don't mind driving and have a 30 pack of high life to split with someone if they want to tag along. Get in touch and we can work out details.

I might be down if my work gets canceled tomorrow. I will know early if so. Do you have a vehicle that can make it through all dis crazyness?

I hope we get dumped on this weekend. Might be going up this sunday, wish more than 2 runs were open already. Doesn't seem like too many people got their pass this year due to financial issues.

I've already got 11 days in.... If someone wants to go up, I'm usually available on weekends. Might have to sit this weekend out because of snow removal..... Sucks

Keystone has 5 runs open including the A51 park!!! Go get some!!!:thumb:

Just got back from keystone it was packed and icey, it was still nice to get up there tho. A51 park was close, I'm not sure who told you it was open.

Sick! my sister lived in a cabin up at irwin lodge for years, we use to ride some of dopest back country ever up there. You can do whatever the fuck you want, especially in tha winter when the only way of transportation is snowmobile.
