Hey guys so...
It has been suggested that we should have a 'sripes' button that we can click to add 1 'sripe' to a post.... then we can maniacally add sripes on posts that are more gooder.

there must be negative sripes as well.

We have that, it's called rep.
I have no idea how this sripes thing would work, though. None of us are coders so we can't just pull some awesome mod out of our ass like Ricky could. Find a vbulletin mod that does this and we'll get it to Nommo

thats what i was thinking too. couldn't you just name the rep points something new, give it a new little image, and call it a day?

Pretty sure you can change the way reputation points are displayed in the vBulletin options

I've looked for it in the admin options and couldn't find it. Didn't see anything in the online manual, either. I was trying to change the message that pops up when you give someone rep.
I could have missed it, though

this may be a good place to start:
http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?105652-Reputation-Hide-Dots-and-Show-Numbers&p=676448#post676448
just a small code change to display the rep bars as a number rather than the bar... Looks to call the "reputation" variable - finding the function that writes "reputation" may be key to changing the text that the code prints as well.
