The most recent flash ad I saw was a competition to "shave her legs".
A click quota flash game advertisement where you attempt to beat the AI in a challenging, and quite repulsive game of shaving some female cartoon figure's legs.
Facebook, here I am.

I'm with you there. Myspace has gotten out of control with flash ads and lame friend requests. I actually stay in touch with my friends on Facebook. Seems like no one wants to use Myspace anymore. Way too overcommercialized...

So it was leg shaving that did it, eh? It wasn't the insipid flash crap installed on their pages and other garbage to load up your temp internet files folder?

Haven't used it in months. I still find myself checking my inbox just to tell the few that do try to contact me there to join facebook..

I will never have a facebook page, and I only use Myspace to play Special Forces.. which is for 30 seconds a day.
I just have zero use for either of them, really. <shrug>

Oddly the timestamp on this thread is from LONG before this site ever existed.

Like it or not, both MS and FB are good networking tools.
But I do agree, myspace is going downhill fast with all the shit ads, flash, and junk that litters 1/3 or more of the page real estate.

Completely agreed! I stopped using my myspace quite a while ago. I haven't even logged in there in 2 months. I really like Facebook though. So at least I had somewhere to run to :)
I keep both myspace and facebook up and running. Gives me some place besides here to talk shit when I get home drunk lol.

lol, ditto... I can't use my main FB for drunkenness, since the majority of my "friends" are relatives, but that's what a dummy/dup account is for.
I get on my MySpace maybe once every week or two to see if there's anything I actually need on there.
I'm predominately Facebook these days which is really nice cause it's 100% IRL friends, so I actually care about talking to people on it and seeing what other people are saying.
