Assuming my unemployment finally comes through, this would be a great way to celebrate my birth.

Friend of mine wants me to mob to this on Friday... What can a completely clueless person expect? What kind of music is this, and where can I check some of these mofos out?

Go back to forums.unaudio.com and check out the Glitch Mob fiends thread. Plenty of Ana Sia, Lazer Sword and Megasoid to be found there. You could probably just search for those names, 'cept Ana Sia won't come up because it's two three-letter words. Dave Seied is awesome. The rest I'm not overly familiar with...

Some world-class glitch/dub/whomp/:awesome:ness f'real

Check out Addictech.com for tunes from a bunch of them. As for mixes, you could probably find some on www.glitchhopforum.com and, as C said, in the glitch mob fiends thread on unaudio

One of my personal faves on the list is Eskmo. His recent Ancestor mix is killer. Check it:

I'd be there in a heartbeat if I could

My guess is that artists like Bluetech and Ana Sia would be more up your alley, Erik.

Theres a brand new Meyer Line Array that was just installed at Cervantes, and we're bringing in a D&B system into Quixotes. Not to worry -- both rooms will be bangin'.

See ya tonite!

Pretty rockin' show last night. Stayed in Quixote's most of the night, until Megasoid became a mega let-down and Seied took to Cervantes main stage.

Really good sets all the way around, otherwise. Fresh2Death was rockin', samiyam was really interesting.

Lorn dropped the place on its face...which was awesome, but totally fucked the energy level for Ana Sia. He finally tried to cool it down a bit with his last track, she tried to mix into it, but it just wasn't flying. So she dropped the music completely and basically said there's no way to transition gracefully between what he was playing and what she wanted to play. Then she dropped heaters from that point on. Lazer Sword was pretty fucking dope.

Stoked for tonight!!

They invented this thing called a CD player. It was eventually used to fill the 45 minute gaps between sets at shows. 95% of the music sucked also.
